About The Position

This part-time position involves bringing processed clothing to the sales floor, maintaining its organization and presentability, and assisting customers. Excellent customer service skills are essential. The retail centers are open from 9 AM to 9 PM on Mondays through Saturdays and 9 AM to 8 PM on Sundays.

Requirements

Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work a varied schedule which may include weekends, evenings and holidays as needed with occasional overtime.
High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
One (1) year of retail experience is preferred.
Prior visual merchandising experience is preferred.
Must have attention to detail and ability to make decisions.
Ability to use basic technologies to be able to follow company standards.
Ability to use judgement to assess quality and value of product and pricing, researching value as necessary.
Ability to see color and use judgement to assess quality and value of product and pricing, researching value as necessary.
Must be able to communicate effectively with customers, managers, supervisors, staff, and peers.

Responsibilities

Bring processed clothing to the sales floor.
Keep the sales floor organized and presentable.
Interact with customers and provide assistance.
Ensure the sales floor area is well stocked with product in an organized and presentable fashion.
Be responsive in communication and provide excellent customer service.
Maintain overall cleanliness of the sales floor and restrooms.
Meet or exceed minimum productivity standards and expectations/Key Performance Indicator (KPI) for assigned duties.
Act as an ambassador of pricing according to Goodwill standards of quality and value of product (good, better, best), which may include researching the item’s value on the internet or utilizing other company tools and standards.
Maintain a clean and organized sales floor by regularly cleaning and organizing shelves and racks, picking items up off the floor, putting away product(s) from racks, carts, or baskets, as well as putting away returned or unwanted items.
Ensure sales floor areas are properly merchandised to standard (categorized, colorized, sized).
Make decisions to flex product to improve customer shopping experience and increase sales.
Assist production by communicating targeted needs for the floor to the manager on duty.
Provide excellent customer service to fellow staff and customers by adhering to the 10-foot rule (i.e., anytime you find yourself within 10-feet of a customer, you should smile, greet, make eye contact etc.) and answer product questions as needed.
Rotate or pull old or unsold product(s) in a timely manner from the sales floor to ensure product selection is refreshed as necessary.
Responsible for E-Commerce product identification and pulling from sales floor.
Follow all retail center policies and procedures.
Follow all safety processes and procedures to help provide a safe working environment for employees and customers.
Cross-train in other departments or areas; act as a back-up for other areas as required.
Job duties may extend beyond the tasks listed and may include additional responsibilities as required.
