About The Position

This part-time position involves bringing processed clothing to the sales floor and assisting customers. Excellent customer service skills are essential. The role requires maintaining a clean and organized sales floor, including restrooms and dressing rooms. Associates are responsible for merchandising products according to Goodwill standards, ensuring a refreshed selection for customers. The position also involves identifying and pulling products for e-commerce, adhering to all company policies and safety procedures, and potentially cross-training in other departments.

Requirements

Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work a varied schedule which may include weekends, evenings and holidays as needed with occasional overtime.
Attention to detail and ability to make decisions.
Ability to use basic technologies to follow company standards.
Ability to use judgment to assess quality and value of product and pricing, researching value as necessary.
Ability to see color and use judgment to assess quality and value of product and pricing, researching value as necessary.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, managers, supervisors, staff, and peers.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
One (1) year of retail experience is preferred.
Prior visual merchandising experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Bring processed clothing to the sales floor.
Interact with customers and provide assistance.
Ensure the sales floor area is well stocked with product in an organized and presentable fashion.
Maintain a clean and organized sales floor by regularly cleaning and organizing shelves and racks, picking items up off the floor, putting away product(s) from racks, carts, or baskets, as well as putting away returned or unwanted item(s).
Ensure sales floor areas are properly merchandised to standard (categorized, colorized, sized).
Make decisions to flex product to improve customer shopping experience and increase sales.
Assist production by communicating targeted needs for the floor to the manager on duty.
Provide excellent customer service by adhering to the 10-foot rule and answering product questions.
Rotate or pull old or unsold product(s) in a timely manner from the sales floor.
Responsible for E-Commerce product identification and pulling from sales floor.
Follow all retail center policies and procedures.
Follow all safety processes and procedures.
Crosstrain in other departments or areas; act as a back-up for other areas as required.
Perform additional responsibilities as required.
