Sales Floor Associate
About The Position
The Sales Floor Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers and maintaining a clean, organized store environment. The role follows operational, merchandise, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained across multiple store areas to support business needs. Associates support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect, and participate in safety awareness, store recovery, and shrink-reduction efforts. The position is located at the HomeGoods store at 7191 Cypress Lake Drive in Fort Myers, Florida. Starting pay is $15.00–$15.50 per hour; actual starting pay depends on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities
- Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Follow the merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain and clean the entire store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
