About The Position

This role is responsible for greeting customers, assisting with merchandise inquiries, promoting sales, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The associate will adhere to Goodwill's Guiding Principles and work towards achieving production goals. Key duties include placing and rotating merchandise on the sales floor, maintaining a clean and organized sales floor and inventory, and ensuring dressing rooms are tidy. The associate must also follow safety practices, report safety hazards, and report any incidents of theft.

Requirements

Ability to greet customers in a prompt, friendly, and courteous manner.
Ability to assist customers with merchandise inquiries and promote sales.
Ability to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
Adherence to Goodwill’s Guiding Principles.
Ability to ensure accurate counts.
Ability to achieve and exceed MGI production goals of 14 racks or carts per day.
Ability to place apparel, wares, shoes, accessories, etc., onto the sales floor in the correct location.
Ability to rotate merchandise from the sales floor as needed.
Ability to maintain sales floor and inventory in a clean, neat, and properly displayed manner.
Ability to maintain dressing rooms free of dust, dirt, fallen merchandise, and clutter.
Ability to remove hangers from the cash wrap.
Adherence to all MGI and personnel policies and procedures.
Follow good safety practices.
Ability to report safety hazards.
Ability to report all incidents of theft (both internal and external) to a management team member or Loss Prevention Manager.
