About The Position

This is a position where you are trained in all aspects of the business. Entry level candidates are welcome to apply. The successful candidate will coordinate with the Sales Department to prioritize and manage the delivery of sold vehicles each day. He/She will gain familiarity with all processes and paperwork necessary to complete a vehicle sales transaction. The Sales & Finance Assistant must be able to explain delivery paperwork to customers and is to answer all questions from them including the availability, cost, and benefit of aftermarket products. The successful candidate will introduce customers to the services provided by our Service Department and go over the operational features of the vehicle that is being delivered.

  • Must be able to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, drug testing, and hold a valid driver's license with a good driving history.
  • Able to establish personal sales and income goals and implement a plan of action to achieve goals.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to effectively communicate via face-to-face, phone, or by other means of communication.
  • Able to effectively promote the value and benefits of products and services using multiple communications methods, adjusting communication style as required.
  • Ability to understand, keeps abreast of, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that impact retail automotive sales.
  • Computer proficiency
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to process data and organize it for management analysis.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to understand and follow work rules and procedures.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
  • Ability to interact well with others.
  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent; and one to two year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
