Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay is currently seeking applicants for a Sales FAE. Within the VISHAY Field Application Business Development team, you will act as the main technical interface to the customer and sales. You are responsible for the technical promotion and support of our Vishay products (passive and semiconductors) to the customers. You will ensure the link between our sales team on the commercial side, the introduction of existing products and development of the NEW products per technical requirements and commercial conditions provides by the customer.

Requirements

  • Successfully completed BS degree in electrical engineering minimum, MS in electrical engineering preferred.
  • Experience with electronic components (function / structure / application)
  • Experience in board level design and evaluation
  • Experience in board layout design
  • Very good written and spoken English
  • Communication skills
  • Negotiation and presentation skills
  • Advanced public speaking skills
  • MS Office knowledge
  • Willingness to travel
  • Must be a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).

Responsibilities

  • Technical clarification of the customer application and development of conceptual solution proposals (all active and passive components)
  • Competent advice to the customer (developer) on technical questions for VISHAY components
  • Clear technical understanding of the solutions available to the customer from all Vishay divisions.
  • Internal communication, cooperation and negotiation with all divisions on behalf of our customers.
  • Determination of the components behind the specific applications and design-in of the selected components
  • Specifying and evaluating the customer's task using the existing components (possibly new product ideas for divisions)
  • Systematic collection and arrangement of all relevant information on customer tasks and forwarding to the responsible divisions in the company
  • Bringing application knowledge into the company (R&D, Marketing, Sales)
  • Evaluating and qualification of the customer solution in the lab using typical equipment (DVM, signal generator, Oscilloscope etc.)
  • Provide division with New Product Proposals based on the application knowledge and marketing research of the proposed product.
