About The Position

ProTech currently seeks an Industrial Sales Rep for a warehouse equipment provider at their West Memphis, AR facility. This position will grow both new and existing customer relationships, focusing on selling ready to be shipped new and used warehouse equipment. The position offers a competitive base salary with uncapped commission opportunities based on sales.

Requirements

  • At least 3 – 5 years of experience in business development or sales in the material handling industry, specifically with pallet racking and/or shelving systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate and grow relationships proactively.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, negotiation and interpersonal skills, and an attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical abilities, and solution-oriented thinking.
  • Must be available to work from the West Memphis, AR office.

Responsibilities

  • Identify new customer opportunities in the Memphis and N Mississippi area.
  • Develop new relationships as well as grow existing relationships.
  • Build long term relationships, create additional sales, and resolve issues quickly.
  • Stay informed with product knowledge, market trends and competition.
  • Understand customer function and needs, recommending what best to offer customer to meet their operational requirements.
  • Work primarily based from the office but flexible for in-person meetings to secure deals.
  • Engage with customers to gather operational details, ensuring efficient solution recommendations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams: Cooperate with Project Managers, Customer Service Representatives, and other team members to deliver quality designs and solutions.
