About The Position

Arkansas Talent Group is partnering with a growing and relationship-focused employee benefits and insurance solutions firm to identify an experienced Account Executive to join their team. This position is a full-time opportunity based in Central Arkansas. Our client is seeking a polished and proactive Account Executive who can serve as the primary point of contact for a well-established book of business while helping clients navigate the ever-changing world of employee benefits and insurance solutions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys client interaction, strategic planning, problem solving, and partnering closely with businesses to support their employees and long-term organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Active Health & Life Insurance License required.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience within the insurance or employee benefits brokerage industry required.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Candidates must not have any active non-compete agreements.
  • Local travel to client meetings and events will be required.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing client relationships and employee benefits accounts preferred.
  • Experience with employee benefits administration platforms preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary client-facing representative for a portfolio of approximately 70+ small group accounts, building strong long-term relationships through ongoing communication and support.
  • Guide clients through employee benefits strategies, renewal planning, compliance updates, wellness initiatives, and industry trends.
  • Lead and coordinate renewal meetings, pre-renewal strategy discussions, open enrollment meetings, and post-renewal follow-up sessions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers, vendors, and referral partners to ensure seamless service delivery and issue resolution.
  • Independently manage and resolve client concerns including billing discrepancies, coverage questions, enrollment challenges, carrier issues, and service escalations.
  • Assist with implementation activities, benefit administration system testing, enrollment coordination, and onboarding for new and renewing clients.
  • Collaborate with producers and internal teams to develop client proposals, presentations, and strategic recommendations.
  • Maintain organized and accurate client documentation, account activity, and communication records within the CRM platform.
  • Support the development and implementation of employee wellness initiatives and engagement strategies for client groups.
  • Partner closely with account management, service teams, producers, carriers, and leadership to ensure exceptional client experiences.
