Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Executive, Vertical Market(s) to lead business development and revenue expansion within one or more strategic vertical markets, including Hospitality, Education, Commercial Residential, Healthcare, and Commercial Corporate/Property Management. Reporting directly to the VP of Sales and Marketing, this strategic role will be responsible for developing market-specific growth strategies, building executive-level relationships, sourcing and closing new opportunities, and expanding Total Fire Protection’s presence with customers who require best-in-class fire and life safety solutions. The successful candidate will bring a strong track record of consultative selling, relationship development, and revenue generation within complex commercial environments.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to create a positive buying experience, develop trust with senior decision-makers, and close complex commercial sales opportunities.
  • Strong consultative sales skills with the ability to identify client needs and clearly present the value of doing business with Total Fire Protection.
  • Demonstrated experience developing new business within one or more vertical markets, preferably Hospitality, Education, Commercial Residential, Healthcare, or Commercial Corporate/Property Management.
  • Existing network of strong connections within one or more target verticals is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of outside B2B sales experience, with senior-level commercial sales experience preferred.
  • Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, developing pipeline, and driving sustainable revenue growth.
  • Self-motivated, persistent, and career-oriented with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently in a team environment.
  • Professional presence and strong presentation skills suitable for executive-level customer meetings.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, and Excel) and experience using CRM platforms to manage pipeline activity.
  • Ability to maintain confidential client information.
  • Minimum 3 days of field sales activity required.
  • Ability to develop in-depth knowledge of all company services and effectively position those services within assigned vertical markets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute targeted growth strategies for assigned vertical markets, including Hospitality, Education, Commercial Residential, Healthcare, and/or Commercial Corporate/Property Management.
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities with owners, operators, property managers, facility leaders, and executive decision-makers.
  • Build and maintain a strong network of strategic relationships within assigned verticals to expand Total Fire Protection’s market presence and pipeline.
  • Uncover client needs, assess business challenges, and position Total Fire Protection’s fire and life safety services as value-driven solutions.
  • Leverage the TFP brand to develop long-term customer partnerships and generate recurring revenue opportunities.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of qualified prospects through cold calling, personal visits, referrals, industry networking, and CRM activity.
  • Attend industry associations, trade events, charity functions, and networking opportunities relevant to assigned vertical markets.
  • Deliver an established number of proposals to clients monthly and manage opportunities through the full sales cycle.
  • Close new business and provide regular pipeline, activity, and after-sales reporting to the VP of Sales.
  • Collaborate with internal operations and service teams to support a seamless customer experience from proposal through implementation.
