About The Position

As a Sales Executive (Timeshare Experience), you will be responsible for making meaningful moments for Owners, members, and guests. As a Sales Executive Trainee, you will contribute to the success of the organization and sales distribution site by effectively using sales techniques and processes to convert prospective owners into purchasers as well as reload Owners. You will also have the opportunity to develop relationships with prospective owners by soliciting and following up on referrals and leads. You will cater the sales experience to the individual needs and preferences of each potential owner and follow through with the sales contract process to ensure that all required paperwork and legally required documents are completed accurately and in a timely manner. You will add to the success of the team by maintaining high standards and providing the best service. You will need to have a flexible schedule, communicate clearly with coworkers and guests, and follow the company's rules in all situations. Your responsibilities will also include but are not limited to: Maintaining the customer relationship after the sale is complete to ensure continued owner satisfaction with the organization and to develop future business opportunities (i.e., reloads, referrals, additional sales). This position may require a background check and or drug screen contingent on company policy and state and local requirements. Specific job duties may differ by property, size of team, or facility. Requirements

  • Minimum one-year of timeshare sales experience within last 2 years required
  • Proficiency in English
  • Proficiency in computer skills, specifically in Microsoft programs including Outlook, Excel and Teams preferred
  • Incumbent is required to maintain an active and in-good standing professional Real Estate License where mandated by law
  • Position may require background and drug screening, in accordance with state and local requirements.
  • Perform physical tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Making meaningful moments for Owners, members, and guests.
  • Converting prospective owners into purchasers and reloading Owners using sales techniques and processes.
  • Developing relationships with prospective owners by soliciting and following up on referrals and leads.
  • Catering the sales experience to the individual needs and preferences of each potential owner.
  • Following through with the sales contract process to ensure all required paperwork and legally required documents are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Maintaining the customer relationship after the sale is complete to ensure continued owner satisfaction and to develop future business opportunities (i.e., reloads, referrals, additional sales).
  • Giving Sales Presentations: Following and adhering to the Consultative Sales Process, establishing trust, discovering needs, customizing presentations, providing tours, explaining features/advantages/benefits, advocating points, explaining financing options, preparing for daily appointments, following up with correspondence, and answering questions.
  • Building and Maintaining Customer Base: Answering questions, following up on referrals/leads, fulfilling requests, contacting Owners to monitor satisfaction and develop business opportunities, and developing/maintaining customer contact records.
  • Conducting and Managing Business Transactions: Assuring complete and accurate processing of sales documents, reviewing contract details, thoroughly reviewing loan applications and financial documents, monitoring contract processing to minimize rescission decisions, analyzing problems and formulating strategies, completing the purchase summary worksheet, and reaching out to influence Legacy Owners and Every Other Year (EOY) Owners to enroll, upgrade, and maximize reload opportunities.
  • Providing Service to Others: Responding to and monitoring the resolution of customer and Owner inquiries, and leveraging resources for providing service.
  • Other Daily Tasks & Expectations: Managing time effectively, having bold persuasion skills, excellent phone communication and/or interpersonal skills, demonstrating a total understanding of the culture and processes, improving sales presentation approach, participating in formal training sessions, maintaining an awareness of current events and site location information, and understanding and abiding by state and federal regulations.
