About The Position

The Soft Tissue Implants business provides implantable solutions used in soft tissue repair and reinforcement, including sutures and hernia repair products. The team partners with surgeons, hospitals, and surgical staff to support procedural outcomes through clinical education, product expertise, and therapy adoption across healthcare institutions. This role supports the Soft Tissue Implants portfolio within a defined territory covering parts of Kolkata, India. The position follows a remote work style with regular field-based customer engagement across assigned accounts. Approximately 30% travel is required to support customer meetings, case coverage, training activities, and business development initiatives within the territory. The Sales Executive is responsible for driving portfolio growth across the assigned territory by developing relationships with surgeons, clinical teams, and hospital stakeholders. This role combines commercial execution with clinical support responsibilities, including product education, surgical case coverage, customer training, and account development for the Soft Tissue Implants portfolio.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 4+ years experience OR Associate’s Degree AND 2+ years experience OR Bachelor’s Degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting surgeons in the operating room or providing procedural case coverage.
  • Knowledge of implantable medical devices, soft tissue repair products, hernia solutions, biologics, or wound closure therapies.
  • Experience managing complex hospital sales processes, including product evaluations and purchasing committee engagement.
  • Track record of growing market share, expanding existing accounts, and converting competitive business.
  • Experience delivering clinical education, therapy training, and customer in-service programs for healthcare professionals

Responsibilities

  • Achieve territory sales targets and revenue objectives for the Soft Tissue Implants portfolio, including sutures and hernia solutions.
  • Develop and execute territory business plans to expand product adoption within existing and new healthcare accounts.
  • Provide operating room support, surgical case coverage, and clinical assistance during procedures involving assigned therapies.
  • Deliver product demonstrations, therapy education, and in-service training to surgeons, nurses, and healthcare professionals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with surgeons, hospital administrators, purchasing teams, and other key stakeholders to support account growth.
  • Identify opportunities to increase market share through account penetration, competitive conversions, and referral network development.
  • Support product evaluations, committee reviews, and hospital approval processes required for therapy adoption.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, quality standards, customer engagement requirements, and applicable industry regulations.
