About The Position

KONE is seeking a Sales Executive – Business Development for their Minneapolis, MN area. This role is responsible for generating new opportunities outside of an existing customer base by proactively pursuing and building relationships with potential customers. The Sales Executive will identify complex technology solutions utilizing KONE's industry-leading support system to ensure sustainable growth for clients. The position requires a proactive approach to sales, a desire to learn and sell innovative technological solutions, and the ability to use technological tools such as CRM. Familiarity with or interest in learning a solution selling methodology like Sandler is also beneficial. The role involves collaborating across the organization with internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant sales expertise.
  • Bachelor's degree or 7+ years of relevant working experience.
  • Appetite for learning an exciting and new field.
  • Ability to continuously learn and use technological tools such as our CRM.
  • Familiarity with or interest in learning a solution selling methodology, such as Sandler.
