About The Position

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for ongoing client engagement to ensure technical alignment. This includes addressing pre/post-sales technical issues, documenting technical requirements, and understanding the product's technical feasibility within the opportunity/customer environment. The role requires a self-starter with the ability to work independently. The Sales Engineer will develop and provide technical collateral and training for product awareness. They will work closely with Pre-Post Sales teams to ensure customer technical requirements are understood and aligned with the company’s products/services. This involves documenting opportunity/customer network design and aligning with the network/engineering team to execute technical elements like VPN and Static IP to support the pre-post sales process. The Sales Engineer will manage customer technical queries and monitor support requests to ensure product requirements are met, collaborating with customer success for internal alignment. Weekly and quarterly reports, including weekly technical issues/escalations, will be prepared and communicated.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience managing customer technical relationships at Enterprise level.
  • 5+ years of experience with technical pre-post sales.
  • Knowledge and experience of networking topology, TCP/IP protocol, network configuration and components (firewalls, routers, proxies, etc.).
  • Knowledge of cellular networks: Signaling (MAP, DIAMETER, GTP, etc.), core infrastructure (PGWs, STPs, DEAs, and HLR-/HSS’s), roaming (SS7, GRX, IPX), Remote Sim Provisioning (RSP), SGP02, and SGP22.
  • Strong project and time management skills.
  • Exceptional business acumen and interpersonal skills that demonstrate the ability to build technical business relationships that drive alignment internally and externally.
  • Proven track record working independently as well within team environment.
  • Demonstrate strategic, tactical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
