The Sales Engineer will review and analyze performance against programs, quotes, and plans to determine effectiveness, ensuring the business meets or surpasses existing customer expectations while developing new growth opportunities. This position requires developing plans and strategies for new commercial opportunities and achieving sales goals through strong internal and external relationship building. Account management for medium accounts is a key part of the role, with potential support for Key Account Managers or Sales Directors on larger accounts, including contract negotiation, identifying growth/profitability improvements, and advancing customer relationships. The role also involves applying pricing policies, establishing and nurturing customer relationships, identifying sales development targets, and ensuring forecast accuracy in collaboration with the Customer Service Team. A significant aspect involves visiting customer sites to provide technical guidance and service, feeding back product and application information to the technical department, and working closely with them to resolve technical issues.
