About The Position

Aluminum Material Processor Location: McGregor, Texas Department: Aluminum Processing Reports To: Aluminum Processing Supervisor Join Fidelity Manufacturing During an Exciting Period of Growth! As we open our new Texas plant, we are seeking an Aluminum Material Processor to support the preparation and processing of aluminum materials used in the manufacture of generator enclosures and backup power systems. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing manufacturing operation and play a critical role in ensuring quality materials are prepared accurately and efficiently for production. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and enjoys working in a hands-on manufacturing environment. As a member of our Texas startup team, you'll help establish the standards, processes, and workmanship that will support the continued growth of our operation. About Us FIDELITY MANUFACTURING is part of the Backup Power Generation industry. We design and build backup power packages, including tanks and enclosures, for healthcare, industrial, and technology-driven customers that require uninterrupted power at all times. Job Summary The Aluminum Material Processor is responsible for processing aluminum materials by moving, sorting, measuring, cutting, shearing, bending, and preparing material for production using manual and CNC equipment. This role supports manufacturing operations by ensuring aluminum materials are processed accurately, efficiently, and safely in accordance with engineering specifications and production requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, basic mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work safely around manufacturing equipment. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • One to two years of manufacturing, fabrication, warehouse, machining, or related industrial experience.
  • Ability to read and understand basic blueprints and work instructions.
  • Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure and measuring devices.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to maintain awareness of surrounding hazards and working conditions.
  • Background check and pre-employment drug screening required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience operating shears, brakes, saws, CNC equipment, or material processing equipment.
  • Experience working with aluminum materials and sheet metal products.
  • Manufacturing or fabrication experience.
  • Forklift experience.
  • Experience reading production prints and fabrication drawings.
  • Experience supporting startup operations or rapidly growing manufacturing facilities.
  • Technical school, trade school, or vocational training related to manufacturing or machining.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Experience using measuring tools and inspection equipment.
  • Knowledge of material handling and warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

  • Move raw aluminum materials and processed components throughout the facility.
  • Load and unload materials on and off processing equipment.
  • Sort aluminum materials and production kits for processing operations.
  • Measure, mark, and scribe dimensions and reference points according to specifications.
  • Square, shear, cut, and bend aluminum materials accurately to required dimensions.
  • Prepare materials for downstream fabrication and assembly operations.
  • Verify processed materials meet dimensional and quality requirements.
  • Maintain proper identification and organization of processed materials.
  • Set up and operate equipment including shears, brakes, mitre saws, and CNC burn tables.
  • Calculate and set machine controls such as speed, feed, depth, and cutting parameters.
  • Monitor machine operations and identify out-of-tolerance conditions.
  • Make equipment adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance tasks.
  • Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
  • Operate material handling equipment as authorized.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Verify dimensions and measurements using tape measures and other measuring devices.
  • Inspect materials throughout the processing operation to ensure compliance with requirements.
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation as required.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
  • Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship.
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
  • Maintain awareness of potential hazards and surrounding activities.
  • Keep workstations and equipment clean, organized, and safe.
  • Operate machinery and equipment in accordance with established procedures.
  • Work safely around forklifts, material handling equipment, and moving machinery.
  • Support safety initiatives and participate in required training activities.
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices throughout assigned work areas.
