About The Position

Upgrade is seeking a Sales Enablement Specialist to design and implement training programs for their Home Improvement sales team. This role is crucial for ensuring the sales team is well-equipped, confident, and capable of assisting contractors in growing their businesses. The specialist will be responsible for developing onboarding curriculum, leading weekly learning sessions, providing direct coaching to sales representatives, and collaborating with various departments to ensure the team has the necessary knowledge and tools for success. This position is ideal for individuals who excel at creating structured learning experiences and can effectively transform complex technical information into memorable and impactful training.

Requirements

5 years of experience in education, sales enablement, or corporate training
Excellent presentation and facilitation skills — comfortable leading a room
Ability to translate technical or financial concepts into clear, practical training
Strong cross-functional collaborator who can work with Sales, Risk, Product, and Support

Nice To Haves

Teaching or classroom instruction background a plus
Experience in fintech, lending, or financial services a plus but not required

Responsibilities

Design, build, and continuously improve training and certification programs for our sales team
Lead new hire onboarding, including our structured onboarding cycle for new hires
Plan and facilitate our weekly team-wide learning session, covering product updates, market trends, and skill-building
Coach individual reps on sales technique, product knowledge, and financing concepts
Partner cross-functionally with Underwriting, Risk, Merchant Support, and Product teams to keep training current and accurate
Build and run our summer internship program
Own other projects as assigned
