This position will be located in: Fargo, ND or remote opportunity. The Sales Effectiveness Specialist designs, delivers, and continuously improves sales onboarding, readiness, and acceleration programs that enable sales professionals to achieve productivity quickly and consistently. This role partners closely with Sales Leadership, Field Enablement, Sales Operations, Sales Platforms, and Learning and Development to reinforce sales methodology, core market strategies, and performance expectations. As a dedicated enablement resource, this position ensures sales professionals are equipped with the skills, behaviors, and tools required to succeed in their roles in the field.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales/marketing, education, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of experience in sales enablement, sales operations, or sales technology support
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce and other sales platforms (CRM, enablement platforms, sales compensation platforms, collaboration tools)
  • Excellent communication, presentation/training, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
  • Strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Good knowledge of the electrical distribution industry including products and services preferred.

Responsibilities

  • In partnership with Sales Leadership, owns and scales sales readiness and early-tenure acceleration programs including sales readiness milestones, sales methodology, sales process and platforms, core market strategies, go-to market execution, and continuous ever-boarding that accelerate time-to-ramp and quota attainment.
  • Enables sales manager excellence by building structured coaching frameworks, sales acceleration and early-stage coaching frameworks, reinforcement plans, and frontline leader toolkits that drive consistent skill development and sales productivity conversations.
  • Designs, delivers, and optimizes enablement content and sales acceleration experiences, including sales playbooks, job aids, workshops, and both early-tenure acceleration and ever-boarding sessions.
  • Reinforces adoption and effective use of sales tools and platforms by partnering with Sales Operations and Sales Technology to embed workflows, drive behavioral adoption, and ensures sellers are equipped to execute the sales process consistently.
  • Partners cross-functionally with Sales Leadership, Sales, Field Enablement, Sales Operations, Marketing, and Sales Technology to align sales readiness and acceleration with go-to market priorities, role expectations, and competency frameworks.
  • Co-creates, refines, and maintains program content for initiatives such as but not limited to, Sales DLP, role-based learning paths, new hire onboarding, and skills/competency frameworks for sales roles, ensuring content remains accurate, current, and aligned to business needs.
  • Assists with onboarding and training new sales-facing employee-owners within Marketing and Revenue Operations team to ensure alignment with sales processes, tools, and expectations.
  • Supports documentation and knowledge-management activities, including organizing roles profiles, competency maps, learning plans, and enablement resources.
  • Assists in company public relations efforts seeking out potential news releases, social media content, and other opportunities within our branch locations.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor or other designate.
