The MCR standard is to provide clean, friendly, well-organized and safe hotels for our guests. The Director of Sales will be responsible for meeting and exceeding group booking goals, increasing average daily rate and occupancy growth, growing market share on an annual basis, revenue maximization and expense control, sales and/or events department oversight, and maintaining client relationships & networking. This role requires a proactive approach to developing action plans, conducting site inspections, and executing strategic plans to achieve optimal occupancy and ADR growth. The Director of Sales will also coordinate with revenue and pricing teams, secure new business, maximize total revenues, control expenses, oversee the hotel sales function, and ensure seamless event management for contracted customers. Maintaining strong client relationships and community visibility through networking, trade shows, and sales calls is crucial. The role may require attending meetings and functions outside typical office hours.
