The Director of Sales will be responsible for meeting and exceeding group booking goals, increasing average daily rate and occupancy growth, growing market share on an annual basis, revenue maximization, expense control, sales and/or events department oversight, and maintaining client relationships and networking. This role involves developing quantifiable action plans, conducting site inspections, executing strategic plans for optimal occupancy and ADR growth, coordinating with revenue and pricing teams, securing new business, maximizing total revenues, controlling expenses, overseeing the hotel sales function, executing business booked, generating proposals, writing contracts, managing customer correspondence, overseeing event management for group bookings, ensuring seamless on-property experiences with friendly service, maintaining professional and active relationships with clients and industry contacts, and representing the hotel positively at industry events. The role also requires attending required meetings and functions, potentially outside typical office hours.
