Additionally, this position may act as Manager on Duty, handling guest complaints and issues, and is responsible for interviewing, selecting, training, and developing staff. The role involves negotiating hotel rates for LNR accounts, securing group business, coordinating with operations and kitchen staff for events, and maintaining sales files. A strong prospecting plan is essential, targeting business for need dates. The Sales Director must always follow company policies and procedures, ensuring fair treatment and respect for employees and guests. Other duties may be assigned by supervisor or management.
