As an Sales Development Representative, you'll assist growth within Leaderpromos' business development team. This includes partnering directly with leaders to understand business development, data management, and sales support. You'll expand your sales and marketing knowledge by cultivating relationships with the sales department, learning and understanding the pipelining and outreach process and developing knowledge within the promotional product industry. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communication, sales or marketing preferred.
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively and independently
  • Self-drive to research and develop contacts
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Prospect Research & Target Identification Research companies that align with Leaderpromos’ Ideal Prospect Profiles
  • Gather insights on company size, industry, growth trends, and organizational structure
  • Support building/development of target prospect lists across priority industries with research & list tracking
  • CRM & Data Management (HubSpot)
  • Create and maintain prospect and contact records in HubSpot
  • Ensure accurate contact data including titles, roles, and contact type classifications
  • Track outreach activities and engagement across the BD pipeline
  • Maintain clean and organized CRM data to support reporting and analytics
  • Assist in managing workflows, sequences, and follow-up reminders
  • Help maintain visibility into pipeline progress and prospect engagement
  • Outreach Coordination
  • Coordinate outreach campaigns including: Email sequences Capability introductions Self-promo or catalog mailings Follow-up reminders
  • Assist Business Development leaders with outreach preparation
  • Ensure outreach cadence is maintained for Tier 2 and Tier 3 prospects
  • Track engagement metrics and flag opportunities showing increased interest
  • Sales Team Administrative Support
  • Prepare prospect research briefs for sales meetings
  • Assist in scheduling meetings with prospective clients
  • Coordinate sample shipments and introductory materials for prospects
  • Track follow-up actions and maintain task accountability in the CRM
  • Support preparation for sales presentations, capability meetings, and RFP responses
  • Pipeline Organization & Reporting
  • Maintain organized visibility of prospects across the BD funnel Tier 3 → Tier 2 → Tier 1 opportunities
  • Track outreach activity and engagement trends
  • Assist leadership in identifying prospects that should move between tiers
  • Support reporting that helps the team understand pipeline health and prospect engagement
