We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team on the third shift. This role will be scheduled for three (3) 12-hour shifts during the week from 7pm-7am or two (2) 12-hour shifts Monday - Friday from 7pm-7am and one day shift on Saturday or Sunday from 7am-7pm. This will be a total of 36-hours and will be considered a full-time position.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in Transportation and Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
  • 3-5 years of military and/or transportation experience, preferred
  • Capable of acquiring a Department of Defense Security Clearance
  • Superior time management and ability to effectively manage competing priorities
  • Ability to collaborate across departments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Awareness of corporate culture and public image
  • Must be able to work without supervision
  • Proficiency with navigating multiple computer systems
  • Excellent PC skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

Responsibilities

  • Shipment Monitoring via the Alert Board
  • Schedule and dispatch professional teams, coordinating shipments with customers
  • Guide drivers through procedures at shipper and receiver facilities
  • Arrange delivery appointments and address scheduling inquiries
  • Coordinate Canadian shipments and collaborate with customs brokers
  • Coordinate breakdown repairs
  • Perform accident/incident responses and escalate to first shift
  • Maintain Security Log
  • Ensure compliance with safety and security regulations and protocols
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
