About The Position

Lightspeed is looking for a high-energy and driven Sales Development Representative to help execute outbound efforts for their Golf product. This role is the first point of contact potential customers have with the sales team and is responsible for driving revenue growth by generating and qualifying leads for the sales team. The ideal candidate will have experience generating leads or selling technology-based solutions and is looking to grow their Sales career.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of outbound sales or customer facing experience.
  • Enjoy the game of golf.
  • English proficiency needed.
  • Excellent customer service and telephone skills, including strong listening, verbal and written communication.
  • Autonomous, outgoing, a self-starter.
  • Tech savvy, but able to understand people who are not.
  • Being awesome and entrepreneurial.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in technology (software, mobile or other) – major plus.
  • Experience working with golf courses.
  • Knowledge of the golf industry.
  • Fluent in French, in addition to English.
  • Experience working with a CRM (HubSpot preferably).

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and identifying new business, primarily through telephone and email communication, by reaching out to golf directors to present services.
  • Handling a given territory comprising multiple states/provinces in North America.
  • Connecting with prospects through outbound efforts and positioning services as a solution to streamline operations.
  • Responsible for the messaging and building of cadences within the given territory.
  • Collaborating with Sales and Marketing to develop and execute pipeline growth strategies, while consistently meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
  • Analyzing outreach performance and prospect feedback to continuously optimize messaging, channels, and cadences, and providing insights to refine product positioning and go-to-market strategy.
  • Handling other duties and responsibilities as defined by management.
