About The Position

ZeroFox protects organizations from external threats like fraud, abuse, and misinformation by exposing, disrupting, and eliminating risks across the public attack surface. Their platform integrates Cyber Threat Intelligence, Brand and Domain Protection, Attack Surface Intelligence, Executive Protection, and Physical Security Intelligence. They are experiencing rapid growth, investing in AI, and seeking motivated individuals to join their team. This role is part of the Sales Development Representative (SDR) team in Baltimore, serving as a development ground for future enterprise sellers with a clear internal promotion track. The SDR will focus on filling the top of the sales funnel by identifying prospects, initiating conversations, and handing off qualified opportunities to the Account Executive team. Responsibilities include outbound prospecting via email, phone, and LinkedIn, responding to inbound leads, and collaborating with Account Executives on account prioritization. While deep cybersecurity knowledge isn't required initially, curiosity and credibility with security buyers are essential. The onboarding process includes product and messaging training, with the expectation of booking meetings independently within 60 days and contributing to pipeline within 90 days.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of B2B sales, SDR, or business development experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to run outbound prospecting and qualify opportunities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM hygiene, keeping Salesforce current.
  • Ability to hold a credible conversation with a security buyer, engaging with their world and risk posture.
  • Resilience to rejection; ability to debrief, adjust, and move on.
  • Organizational skills to manage outreach cadences across 30+ accounts.
  • Genuine curiosity about how ZeroFox works.
  • Willingness to learn cybersecurity quickly.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity, enterprise software, or complex B2B buying cycles.
  • Experience working with channel or partner-influenced deals.
  • Exposure to Outreach, SalesLoft, ZoomInfo, or similar sales engagement tools.

Responsibilities

  • Fill the top of the sales funnel by finding the right prospects.
  • Start conversations with potential clients.
  • Hand off qualified opportunities to the Account Executive team.
  • Run outbound prospecting across email, phone, and LinkedIn.
  • Respond to inbound leads.
  • Work with Account Executives to prioritize accounts for pursuit.
  • Complete product and messaging onboarding.
  • Start prospecting alongside your Account Executive.
