About The Position

Veem is seeking a motivated and organized Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive pipeline growth by identifying and qualifying prospective customers. This role is perfect for someone early in their sales career who excels in a fast-paced setting, enjoys interacting with people, and is keen to develop within a fintech organization. The ideal candidate will have B2B sales development experience, understand fintech or payment terminology, and be proficient with sales tools like HubSpot. Familiarity with AI tools or AI-driven sales workflows is a significant advantage. This position involves close collaboration with sales leadership and internal stakeholders, including cross-functional team members, during onboarding and training.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Sales Development, Business Development, or inside sales
  • Experience working in a B2B environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong time management and follow-through
  • Working knowledge of HubSpot CRM
  • Comfortable with outbound prospecting and cold outreach
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a high-growth environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in fintech, payments, banking technology, or financial services
  • Familiarity with payment instruments and fintech terminology
  • Exposure to AI tools, AI-assisted sales workflows, or automation tools
  • Experience working in startups or scaling companies (50+ employees preferred)
  • Experience selling SaaS or technology solutions

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and identify potential B2B clients through outbound outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels)
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads and schedule meetings for Account Executives
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity and pipeline updates in HubSpot
  • Research target companies and decision-makers within fintech, payments, and related industries
  • Build and manage outbound cadences and follow-up sequences
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to improve outreach effectiveness
  • Consistently achieve activity and pipeline generation targets
  • Stay informed on industry trends, fintech terminology, and payment solutions
  • Contribute ideas to improve sales processes and prospect engagement strategies
