About The Position

The purpose of the Sales Development Representative (SDR) role is to research and identify potential customers in the Food Service, Beer, and Beverage industries for Delivery Solutions. The SDR will identify sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-ups and outbound cold calls and emails. This role is responsible for building sales pipeline and understanding customer requirements and the Delivery Solutions portfolio.

Requirements

  • Proactive and strong self-starter, working well independently in a remote environment as well as collaborating with the team.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce and sales tools such as Gong and Zoominfo is a plus.
  • Knowledge of our industry and products is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage prospective customers within Food Service, Beer, and Beverage markets through outbound calls, emails, and social channels.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on defined criteria and customer needs aligned to the Delivery Solutions portfolio.
  • Schedule qualified sales appointments for applicable sales team members.
  • Achieve weekly and monthly lead and appointment targets established by sales leadership.
  • Support targeted outreach campaigns to drive awareness and early-stage engagement.
  • Partner with Marketing to support lead nurturing efforts and provide feedback on lead quality, messaging, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Communicate customer insights, objections, and emerging market needs to sales and DS leadership.
  • Support continuous improvement of outreach messaging, scripts, and qualification approaches.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all prospect interactions and lead status within Salesforce.
  • Manage assigned lead pipeline to ensure appropriate follow-up, progression, or disqualification.
  • Provide visibility into pipeline activity, conversion trends, and lead quality.
  • Utilize approved sales tools and technologies to drive efficiency and consistency throughout the sales processes.
  • Apply data and feedback to refine outreach approaches and improve conversion effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain working knowledge of Delivery Solutions products, applications, and target markets.
