About The Position

Pallet is seeking a curious and driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to be one of the initial points of contact for prospects. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals with strong initiative, a hunger to learn, and a proactive approach, rather than extensive sales experience. The SDR will play a crucial role in building the company's outbound sales strategy from the ground up, collaborating closely with founders and sales leadership. This position offers significant opportunities for growth, with the potential for successful SDRs to transition into Account Executive, partnerships, or marketing roles. The role involves identifying target prospects, building targeted lists, executing outbound campaigns using tools like Apollo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and converting qualified conversations into sales pipeline by booking meetings for Account Executives. The SDR will also be responsible for testing and refining outreach strategies, gathering prospect feedback to inform go-to-market strategies, and contributing to the development of sales processes and playbooks.

Requirements

  • Self-starter who thrives in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
  • Grit, resilience, and a passion for learning; not afraid of rejection.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sales or customer-facing experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Identify the right prospects, build targeted lists, and engage with them before the competition.
  • Run outbound campaigns end-to-end using Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and email automation.
  • Turn qualified conversations into pipeline by booking meetings for Account Executives.
  • Hand off leads that are ready to close to Account Executives.
  • Test messaging, sequences, timing, and targeting, and share learnings with the team.
  • Surface prospect feedback to improve the go-to-market strategy.
  • Build the processes and playbooks for future Pallet SDRs.
