About The Position

Being a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Levitate is a very special and important part of our organization. SDRs are our small business clients’ first impression of Levitate and the crucial first point of connection where we identify opportunities to elevate and transform clients’ outreach strategies. Our SDRs are hungry for success, eager to learn, and heavily supported through hands-on training as they grow into Account Executives (AE) through our accelerated promotion plan. We pride ourselves on preparing our SDRs for promotion to an AE role within a timeframe of 6-9 months–and our AE organization contains a structured, intuitive career path for employees to grow through.

Requirements

  • Strong desire to succeed and build a career in sales.
  • Ability to self-motivate and succeed in a fast-paced role.
  • Willingness to ask for help and an openness to being coached.
  • Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize work.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous cold calling experience a plus, but not required.
  • Candidates with transferable experience in outbound prospecting, cold calling, lead generation, or booking qualified meetings may find this role a strong fit.
  • Welcome applications from people coming from high-volume communication or persuasion-based roles - fundraising, canvassing, door-to-door sales, hospitality, retail, or recruitment.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on outbound prospecting small businesses across the U.S. (130 cold calls) with leads that are provided.
  • Book demos for Senior Account Executives and ramp up to 3 demos/day over time and with training.
  • Reach out and confirm prospect attendance at their scheduled demo.
  • Drive strategic, top-of-the-funnel lead generation through targeted cold-calling.
  • Consistently update activities, opportunities, and account information in our CRM.
