Sales Development Representative (SDR)

HowGood•New York, NY
•$70,000 - $115,000

About The Position

HowGood is an independent research company and SaaS platform with the world's largest database on food product sustainability. Its Latis platform assesses more than 33,000 ingredients across eight sustainability metrics and helps food brands, retailers, restaurants, and ingredient suppliers measure, reduce, report, and communicate environmental and social impact. Sustainability, R&D, and procurement teams at major food companies use Latis to make product and sourcing decisions. HowGood is backed by FirstMark. The Sales Development Representative will open conversations with food and CPG companies that need credible sustainability data and generate qualified first meetings for Account Executives. As a founding member of HowGood's SDR team, this person will work directly with the Head of Sales, help develop the team's playbook, and turn suppliers joining through SupplierConnect into sales conversations. Success is primarily measured by qualified meetings held per month, where the prospect attends, the meeting meets qualification criteria, and the opportunity advances to the next sales stage. Ramp targets are 2–3 qualified meetings held in days 1–30, 4–6 in days 31–60, and 6–8 per month in days 61–90. Activity, reply rates, and meeting-to-opportunity conversion are also tracked. The position may be based in the Brooklyn, NY office, Europe, or remotely. It reports to Rachel Calomeni, Head of Sales. Base salary is $70,000–$80,000, with $100,000–$115,000 OTE paid on qualified meetings held that advance to opportunity. US benefits are listed below and vary by country.
