About The Position

Qbiz is seeking a driven, entrepreneurial Sales Development Representative (SDR) to be the first dedicated outbound hire. This role involves owning prospecting from day one, working closely with marketing and sales leadership, and helping to build the outbound sales playbook. The SDR will be responsible for generating pipeline, engaging prospective clients, and creating new business opportunities for a boutique data consultancy that helps organizations improve how they manage and use data through initiatives like data governance, AI readiness, cost optimization, and advanced analytics.

Requirements

  • 6+ months of SDR or outbound sales experience (preferably in B2B or professional services)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter who's comfortable with ambiguity and building from scratch
  • Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or SalesLoft
  • Curious about data, analytics, or technology (you don't need to be an expert, but you should want to learn!)

Responsibilities

  • Own outbound prospecting across email, LinkedIn, and other channels
  • Identify and engage target accounts and key decision-makers
  • Qualify leads and schedule meetings for senior sales team members
  • Partner with marketing to sharpen messaging and test new campaigns
  • Track activity and performance metrics in CRM
  • Help build and iterate on the SDR playbook as you learn what works
