The SDR will play a critical role in driving the growth of our business by generating and qualifying leads, setting appointments, and supporting the sales team. You don’t need prior experience in commercial insurance. What matters is your drive, ability to connect with prospects, and desire to learn and grow. Requirements

  • Will need to obtain PA property and casualty license (agency will sponsor).
  • 1-2 years of experience in a sales role, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Hunger to learn and grow in a new industry.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing opportunities.
  • Comfortable managing multiple prospects and opportunities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively research and identify potential clients through various channels, including online research, social media, industry events, and networking.
  • Conduct outbound calls, emails, and other forms of communication to engage potential clients and introduce them to Sovereign Insurance Group's services.
  • Assess and qualify leads based on established criteria to ensure they meet the company's target customer profile.
  • Schedule meetings and appointments for the sales team with qualified leads, ensuring a smooth handoff of information.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and leads in the company's CRM system.
  • Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to develop and refine lead generation strategies and campaigns.
  • Conduct follow-up communication with potential clients to nurture relationships and move them through the sales funnel.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on lead generation activities, progress, and results to management.
