The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is the first point of contact with prospective customers. In this role you will work to generate new sales leads by researching the material handling market, identifying potential customers and building an initial relationship. You will have support in identifying qualified sales leads through our website, marketing campaigns, trade shows, and other sales channels. As the SDR you will communicate directly with customers to assess their needs and work to align those needs with Plug product solutions. This role serves a critical function to build trusted and mutually beneficial relationships with the end-users of Plug’s technology. The SDR will collaborate closely with colleagues across the Sales, Engineering, and Marketing teams to support the initial steps of the sales cycle. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to gain an in-depth understanding of company technology, possess superior interpersonal skills, and operate with the highest standards of business integrity.
