About The Position

Aerotek is an operating company within Allegis Group, a global talent-solutions leader with more than 200 offices nationwide. The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is an entry-level sales role designed to teach the fundamentals of recruiting and sales, including prospecting, client engagement, requisition qualification, and delivery. The role follows a defined path toward becoming an Account Manager and works closely with Delivery and Sales teams to develop client relationships, generate leads, and support revenue growth. The SDR identifies target accounts in an assigned territory, researches prospects, and conducts outreach—including cold calls—to arrange meetings. The role executes the steps of Aerotek’s sales process and SOLVE model, supports client account development and territory planning, and completes Aerotek Account Manager Onboarding training. Aerotek describes its workplace as inclusive and supportive of employee development, with comprehensive training and a policy of promoting exclusively from within. After successful completion of the salary-equivalent hourly training period, the position offers a $60,000 base salary with weekly commission potential, a monthly car allowance, cell-phone reimbursement, and other performance-based incentives. Projected sales earnings are $60,000 during the training year, $80,000 in the first full year, and $121,000 in the second full year.
