As the #1 home staging brand nationally, Vesta's services in Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, and South Florida help sell high-value properties quickly and facilitate seamless transitions for buyers into furnished spaces. Their interior design and custom furniture services are available globally. The company is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive growth in an assigned region. Reporting to the Senior Regional Sales Director, this role is crucial for generating qualified opportunities for the sales team through outbound prospecting, inbound lead qualification, and early-stage client engagement. The SDR will focus on identifying potential clients, initiating conversations, and scheduling qualified meetings for the regional sales team across staging, luxury lease furniture rentals, and related services. Success hinges on strong communication, high activity levels, diligent CRM usage, and the ability to thrive in a metrics-driven sales environment. Each sales role at Vesta has specific performance expectations, and this SDR will be responsible for meeting assigned activity and opportunity-generation targets. Performance expectations are aligned with the role's quota level, account responsibility, and scope.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in business development, outbound sales, or a related client-facing role.
  • Proven success in a hunter-style sales or business development role focused on generating net new opportunities.
  • Experience working in a metrics-driven or quota-driven sales environment preferred.
  • Experience with outbound prospecting, lead qualification, or meeting setting strongly preferred.
  • Experience selling to real estate professionals, developers, or related industries is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and conducting high-volume outreach.
  • Experience using CRM and sales engagement tools (Salesforce, Apollo, Instantly, SmartLead, Outreach, Salesloft, HubSpot, or similar).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently while collaborating with the regional sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business opportunities within the assigned region through outbound prospecting, including calls, email outreach, and other sales engagement methods.
  • Qualify inbound leads and determine fit based on project scope, timeline, and client needs.
  • Schedule qualified meetings, walkthroughs, presentations, or discovery calls for the regional sales team.
  • Build and maintain prospect lists within the assigned region, including brokers, developers, property owners, and related industry contacts.
  • Maintain consistent daily activity levels in accordance with company performance expectations.
  • Accurately track all activity, contacts, and opportunities in Salesforce CRM and related sales tools.
  • Maintain clean and organized prospect and pipeline data in accordance with company standards.
  • Represent the company professionally in all early-stage outreach and communications.
  • Educate prospective clients on the company’s services and value proposition.
  • Provide regular updates on activity levels, meetings scheduled, and pipeline contribution to Sales Leadership.
  • Support regional initiatives, marketing campaigns, and sales programs as directed by the Senior Regional Sales Director.
  • Collaborate closely with the Core Sales team, Channel Sales team, and Sales Leadership to ensure smooth handoff of qualified opportunities.
