About The Position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is a foundational role in our College Readiness division, focused on driving new business opportunities for our AP-aligned instructional and assessment programs. This role is crucial for connecting UWorld’s solutions with district administrators and educators who are focused on boosting their academic accountability ratings (like CCMR) and increasing student performance on college-level exams. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter with exceptional communication skills and a passion for education and measurable student success.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in Sales Development, Business Development, or a high-volume outbound calling environment, preferably in the B2B SaaS or Education Technology (EdTech) sector.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct strategic research to identify and target high-potential school districts, specifically those with a clear need for CCMR and AP performance improvement.
  • Execute personalized, high-volume outreach campaigns using phone calls, email, and LinkedIn to schedule introductory meetings for the Account Executive team.
  • Clearly and concisely communicate the measurable impact of UWorld’s AP-focused solutions on student achievement and CCMR indicators.
  • Conduct thorough qualifying calls to understand a prospect’s current challenges, budget, authority, need, and timeline (BANT).
  • Partner with Marketing to utilize case studies, white papers, and webinars, nurturing leads until they are sales-qualified opportunities.
  • Meticulously track all sales activities, prospect interactions, and lead status updates in the CRM (Salesforce) to ensure accurate reporting and pipeline forecasting.
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly targets for calls, emails, qualified leads (SQLs), and set meetings.
