We’re looking for an experienced Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing remote team. You’ll play a crucial role in engaging leads, nurturing client relationships, and setting the stage for both tax planning and insurance solutions. Over time, you’ll transition into a licensed closer role where you’ll handle insurance sales directly.
Requirements
- 2+ years of B2B sales or account development experience
- Strong professional communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
- Experience with Salesforce, LinkedIn, Google Suite, or similar CRM/sales tools
- Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize time effectively
- Self-reliant, competitive, and driven to meet/exceed targets
- Comfortable selling in hybrid environments (direct + virtual)
Responsibilities
- Engage with new leads and follow up on outstanding engagement agreements
- Conduct consultative meetings (phone, Zoom, or in-person) to uncover client needs
- Schedule and prepare client meetings for tax planning and insurance presentations
- Track client progress, ensure quarterly check-ins, and support retention
- Maintain accurate CRM notes and communication logs
- Attend networking or business events to represent the firm
- Transition into closing insurance sales directly once licensed
