About The Position

Geordie is building a platform for enterprises to safely govern their AI agents, and pipeline generation is crucial for their growth. As one of the first Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), you will be responsible for initiating the sales process by identifying and connecting with the right people, creating new opportunities, and fueling the company's revenue growth. This role requires proactive outreach, including cold calling, cold emailing, building outreach sequences, and finding creative ways to engage with key decision-makers in large enterprises. The position demands persistence and a consistent work ethic, regardless of daily outcomes. You will collaborate closely with Account Executives, Sales Engineers, and the broader Go-To-Market (GTM) team. As an early hire, you will have significant influence in shaping the SDR function. This role offers a clear growth path for individuals who are driven, curious, and aspire to move into a closing role or GTM leadership within a rapidly evolving AI security company.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of SDR or BDR experience, preferably in an early-stage SaaS or cybersecurity company.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding outbound pipeline generation targets.
  • Proficiency in cold calling, with the ability to engage in meaningful conversations beyond automated outreach.
  • Experience with CRM tools and a consistent practice of maintaining accurate activity and pipeline data.
  • Strong written communication skills, capable of crafting compelling cold emails that elicit responses.
  • Must be based in the Eastern Time Zone and available to work ET hours.
  • Genuine curiosity about AI, enterprise security, or the agent ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Own top-of-funnel pipeline generation through cold calling, personalized email outreach, LinkedIn, and other creative channels, focusing on both volume and quality.
  • Identify and prioritize target technology companies where Geordie's platform can solve critical problems for their AI agents.
  • Develop creative outreach strategies beyond standard sequences, finding unique angles and hooks to secure meetings.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of the Geordie platform, competitive landscape, and be prepared to deliver introductory demos and handle initial objections.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to align on target accounts, share market intelligence, coordinate outreach efforts, and ensure smooth deal handoffs.
  • Maintain CRM discipline by accurately logging all activities, sequences, and pipeline data to support team decision-making.
  • Utilize AI tools, such as Claude Cowork, to enhance efficiency, personalize outreach at scale, and identify competitive advantages.
  • Contribute to the development of the outbound sales playbook by sharing insights on effective strategies and areas for improvement.
