About The Position

The SDR team is the engine behind Miter’s pipeline growth and is scaling fast. As an Inbound SDR, you will be the first to connect with contractors who raise their hand to learn more about Miter, responding quickly and turning that interest into qualified pipeline. You will work closely with Marketing and Account Executives to ensure no opportunity is missed. This is a high-impact role with room for creativity, where you will help refine qualifying and follow-up processes, connect prospect pain points to the right Miter modules, and contribute to a repeatable inbound playbook as the product evolves. You will collaborate with sales, marketing, and leadership to test new ideas and accelerate revenue growth. As the initial point of contact for many future customers, you will set the tone for strong, lasting relationships and help contractors recognize the value of modern, industry-leading tools. Miter is committed to SDR growth, offering clear paths to senior SDR roles, Account Executive positions, and beyond.

Requirements

  • No prior experience required — prior SDR work, cold calling, or transferable experience from college (athletics, leadership, part-time sales) is a plus.
  • Highly organized — you can juggle a high volume of inbound leads and follow-ups, staying on top of every prospect without letting anything slip through the cracks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication — as the first point of contact at Miter, you’re energetic, personable, and make a great first impression.
  • A natural relationship builder who partners closely with AEs, asks sharp questions, and stays genuinely curious about every prospect.
  • Self-motivated and coachable, with a strong desire to build a long-term career in Sales.
  • Grit, resilience, and a strong work ethic — you bring consistent energy and bounce back quickly from a “no”.

Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for inbound leads (demo requests, content downloads, marketing-sourced leads), responding with a time-to-touch under 15 minutes.
  • Run qualifying and discovery conversations to surface prospect pain and tie it back to the relevant Miter modules.
  • Communicate Miter’s value proposition and business impact, booking qualified meetings (SALs) for Account Executives and managing clean handoffs.
  • Follow up persistently with every lead that no-shows or doesn’t self-book, re-engaging across phone, email, and other channels.
  • Partner closely with Marketing on campaigns and lead quality, and own activity and pipeline metrics in Salesforce.
