Your efforts will directly contribute to Fastly’s top-line revenue growth by engaging with prospective customers who have expressed interest in our solutions. As an Inbound Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for responding to and qualifying inbound leads, educating prospects on Fastly’s platform, and partnering closely with Sales and Marketing to convert interest into qualified opportunities. This role is ideal for someone who is curious, coachable, eager to learn, and excited to build a strong foundation in technology sales while gaining deep exposure to Fastly’s products and customers. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, highly organized, motivated by career growth in tech sales, and excited to develop their skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • Experience as an SDR/ BDR or in a sales or lead generation role.

Responsibilities

  • Engage and qualify inbound leads generated through marketing campaigns, events, website inquiries, and partner channels.
  • Educate prospective customers on Fastly’s products, value proposition, and solutions to understand their business needs.
  • Conduct discovery conversations to identify pain points, business initiatives, and potential opportunities.
  • Manage and nurture inbound lead flow through timely follow-up and consistent communication.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives, Account Managers, Sales Engineers, and Marketing to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate activity tracking and lead management within Salesforce and other sales engagement platforms.
  • Utilize tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Cognism, 6sense, and other prospecting and engagement technologies.
  • Meet and exceed pipeline generation and qualification goals.
  • Continuously learn about Fastly’s products, industry trends, and customer use cases while building foundational sales skills and preparing for future growth opportunities within the organization.
