About the position
The Sales Development Representative role at Procurify is responsible for generating and qualifying leads through inbound and outbound activities. The ideal candidate should have customer-facing experience and be passionate about sales. They will research potential clients, establish rapport through cold-emailing or responding to inbound requests, and arrange meetings. The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to meet or exceed pipeline targets, and a willingness to learn new software. The Sales Development Representative will be part of a high-performing team focused on building relationships and achieving quotas.
Responsibilities
- Research organizations and individuals to understand their potential business case
- Contact potential clients through inbound requests or cold-emailing to establish rapport and arrange meetings
- Generate and qualify leads
- Keep up to date on industry trends, competitors, and target market
- Network and conduct face-to-face meetings to generate and close leads
- Meet or exceed pipeline targets
- Overcome objections and make recommendations to potential buyers
- Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Learn new software and technologies
- Assist in pipeline generation through inbound and outbound activity
- Identify, qualify, and convert target prospects into pipeline opportunities
- Keep up to date on trends and news from the industry, competitors, and target market
- Understand buyer personas and the needs of the target market
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to overcome objections and make recommendations to potential buyers
- 1+ year of customer-facing experience
- Bonus points for Accounting, Purchasing, or Accounts Payable experience
- Creative and adaptable approach to problem solving

Requirements

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on overcoming objections and making recommendations to potential buyers
- Ability to meet or exceed pipeline targets
- Comfortable to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Technically inclined with the willingness to learn new softwares
