About The Position

American Heritage Lending, LLC, located in Irvine, CA, is experiencing tremendous growth and is looking for a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team. The SDR role is designed to be the entry point into our mortgage sales organization. You’ll work closely with our Loan Officers, respond to qualified leads generated through AHL’s marketing platform, develop relationships with prospective borrowers, and identify new business opportunities. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in mortgage lending and grow into a producing Loan Officer role.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Competitive, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Comfortable making a high volume of calls and having frequent customer conversations.
  • Ability to learn complex financial products and concepts.
  • Strong follow-up and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1–3 years of sales, business development, customer service, recruiting, or other customer-facing experience preferred.
  • Experience with Encompass or other CRM/LOS platforms is a plus.
  • Mortgage experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Take inbound and make outbound calls to leads generated through AHL’s marketing platform.
  • Engage prospective borrowers, understand their goals, and identify potential financing opportunities.
  • Build relationships with prospective borrowers and referral partners through consistent follow-up.
  • Qualify leads and gather initial borrower and property information.
  • Educate prospects on AHL’s investment property lending solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for Loan Officers and assist with moving qualified prospects through the sales process.
  • Schedule appointments and connect qualified opportunities with Loan Officers.
  • Maintain accurate activity, notes, and follow-up in the CRM.
  • Monitor your pipeline and consistently meet activity and performance expectations.
  • Develop new business and referral opportunities.
  • Work closely with Loan Officers, Sales Leadership, and internal teams.
  • Work in an in-office, team-oriented environment designed to accelerate your learning and development.
