About The Position

As a Sales Development Manager Senior, you will play a unique and highly specialized role in the industry—one Capital Group has built and refined over more than 15 years. In this role, you will have two core responsibilities. First, you will partner with wirehouse field leadership and specialist teams to execute strategic initiatives that create preferred access for our territory teams. Second, you will work alongside those territory teams to deliver Capital Group’s enterprise capabilities to the largest and fastest-growing financial advisor teams in the industry. You will bring strong business judgment, industry perspective and relationship management expertise to connect strategy to execution. In this role, you will help prioritize the highest-opportunity advisor teams, align the right Capital Group resources and ensure we deliver a coordinated, consultative experience that drives measurable business impact.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in third-party distribution, financial services sales, advisor distribution or wealth management.
  • Strong knowledge of the wealth management industry, including advisor business models, distribution channels, market trends and competitive dynamics.
  • Demonstrated success identifying key opportunities, developing territory or account strategies and executing plans that drive business results.
  • Skilled at partnering across sales, leadership and specialist teams to execute strategic initiatives.
  • Lead consultative, insight-driven conversations and can position investment solutions, practice management insights and market perspectives in a way that connects to advisor and client outcomes.
  • Communicate clearly and persuasively, with strong verbal, written, presentation and executive presence skills.
  • Manage ambiguity well, exercise sound judgment and independently drive work forward while collaborating effectively with a broader team.
  • Hold Series 7 and Series 63 licenses, which are required.
  • Must be located or willing to relocate to territory (San Francisco).

  • Additional designations such as AIF, AIFA, PPC, CIMA, CFA or CFP® are preferred.
