About The Position

The focus of this position is to qualify, and work assigned sales leads through the sales funnel, from initial research to signed contract. Target emphasis: Independent retail. Travel: Once a month or less.

Requirements

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions and volume.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of written and oral instructions.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft applications: Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook.
  • Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Professional ethics, tact and courtesy in dealing with others

Nice To Haves

  • Prior sales experience preferred, but not required.
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead research and qualification
  • Initiating contact via phone or email
  • Sending applications to potential customers
  • Guiding potential customers from first contact to closing signature
  • Other responsibilities as needed set forth by Director of Sales and Operations
  • Adherence to all company policies and procedures
