About The Position

The Sales Desk Manager serves as a key leader within the dealership, supporting sales associates, structuring deals, maximizing profitability, and helping drive departmental performance while ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Ron Tonkin Honda is looking for an experienced automotive leader with outstanding desking skills, strong business acumen, and a passion for coaching sales professionals to join their leadership team.

Requirements

• Previous automotive sales management or desk management experience
• Superior deal structuring and negotiation skills
• Strong understanding of dealership operations and profitability
• Proven leadership and coaching abilities
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment
• Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Able to pass a criminal background check
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen

Responsibilities

• Structure and desk retail vehicle transactions
• Partner with sales professionals to maximize deal profitability
• Assist with negotiations and closing opportunities
• Monitor and manage daily sales performance
• Train, coach, and develop sales team members
• Ensure compliance with dealership and manufacturer standards
• Maintain accurate reporting and deal documentation
• Support inventory movement and sales objectives
• Collaborate with Finance and General Sales Management
• Maintain exceptional customer satisfaction levels
