About The Position

Closets by Design is hiring a Sales / Design Consultant to help customers organize their homes. The consultant meets with customers at pre-set appointments, learns about their organizational needs, assesses opportunities in their homes, and explains products and services. Appointments and marketing materials are provided, and there is no cold calling. The role offers flexibility to work from home between appointments and an open, flexible schedule. No prior sales or design experience is necessary; the company provides a 16-week sales training program and ongoing mentorship. There is a direct track to Senior Sales Designer, with a pay and bonus increase. Compensation is $50,000–$75,000 per year. The position is with an independently owned and operated franchise; hiring decisions are made by that franchisee.

Requirements

Smart, outgoing, and coachable.
Growth mindset and willingness to complete the 16-week sales training program.
Reliable access to a motor vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
No degree, certification, or sales experience is required.

Responsibilities

Build rapport with customers and understand their organizational needs.
Walk through customers’ homes to assess opportunities.
Educate customers on products and services.
Follow the sales training and use communication skills to help customers with home organizational needs.
Travel to pre-set appointments using provided appointments and marketing materials.
