Dunkin' Sales Crew - Midday/Second Shift
About The Position
Join Dunkin' as a Sales Crew member working the midday/second shift. In this customer-facing role, you will create a welcoming experience, handle transactions and orders, answer menu questions, and prepare coffee and other beverages. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and inviting restaurant while working collaboratively with the team and following service, product-quality, food-safety, cash-handling, and workplace-safety standards. No prior experience is needed; the role is suited to someone willing to learn and contribute in a dynamic environment. The restaurant is independently owned and operated by a Dunkin' franchisee, which is the employer and independently sets its wages and benefit programs.
Requirements
- Fluency in English and strong communication skills.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and transactions.
- Team-oriented and ready to work in a dynamic environment.
- At least 18 years old.
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Comfortable using basic computer systems and POS systems.
- Must pass a drug test and criminal background check.
- No prior experience required; willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide friendly service.
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Assist customers with menu selections and answer questions.
- Process orders quickly and accurately.
- Prepare coffee and other beverages.
- Keep the counter and dining area clean and inviting.
- Work collaboratively with the team and maintain a positive, respectful work atmosphere.
- Be receptive to feedback and opportunities to learn and improve.
- Arrive on time and ready for scheduled shifts.
- Prioritize guest satisfaction and address customer concerns efficiently.
- Maintain Dunkin' standards for service and product quality.
- Upsell menu items and promotions.
- Follow procedures for cash handling, cleanliness, food safety, and workplace safety.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
