Sales & Catering Coordinator Job Description Assist Director of Sales and Marketing, Group Sales Managers, and Business Travel Managers in all administrative functions assigned. The essential functions of this position consist of the following: Answering phones in a friendly manner. Entering data into the Delphi Sales and Catering System and Stay N Touch PMS System. Participating and preparation of Sales Blitz, select site inspections, preparing files and making reservations. Requirements

To join our team as a Sales Coordinator, you must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
Prior administrative, Sales, Hospitality or comparable experience required.
Detail oriented, organized and able to meet specific deadlines.
The ability to act independently with minimal or no supervision.
Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written, to be able connect with our guests and team members.
Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position

Responsibilities

Answering incoming calls to the sales office
Developing relationships with Texas A&M Planners booking individual reservations
Entering rooming list for Sales Managers daily
Issuing Gift Certificates and maintaining monthly calendars
Answer questions and concerns; follow through either to resolution or refer to the appropriate manager.
Assist with group resumes and reporting weekly.
Ordering of supplies, sales promotional items, and keeping inventory of all sales related items.
Group billing for sales managers.
Monthly sales tax reports
