About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic, sales-oriented individual for the role of Sales Coordinator – No experience is required! As a Sales Coordinator, you will work as part of a team representing Manitoba’s premier Hospitality Service Provider. A Sales Coordinator is a Sales Team member responsible for representing all Destination Centres in communications with the public/clients. The Sales Coordinator is responsible for executing sales duties in accordance with the Sales Plan, and effectively managing the documentation and communication of event details.

Requirements

• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint & Excel).
• Ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Self-Motivated.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 1 year of sales experience preferred in the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

• Prepare banquet event orders.
• Communicate effectively with guests, managers, and employees to ensure successful event execution.
• Be well versed on menu offerings, guestroom types, and the variety of setup styles.
• Responsible for booking re-occurring monthly meetings as assigned.
• Prepare Function Calendars identifying major groups and conferences.
