About The Position

The Sales Coordinator communicates with customers to track and maintain on-time deliverables and serves as the main point of contact for customer information regarding shipment and order tracking. This role supports the sales team with order entry, order acknowledgments, and general customer-related information. The position can be based in Romeoville, IL, or remote.

Requirements

Proven experience in sales support, coordination, or administrative roles.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and support daily activities of the sales team.
Inform clients of unforeseen delays or problems.
Provide training on how to use the stow Calculator.
Calculate and prepare quotations with sales interaction and guidance.
Advise customers by phone and email of any changes to shipping or on-time delivery.
Enter orders in SAP and ensure they are processed according to customer requirements, ensuring all orders are accurate and delivered on time.
Handle commercial and administrative communication with customers.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure that sales and deliveries are handled efficiently.
Process sales orders accurately.
Maintain and update customer databases and CRM systems.
Communicate with clients regarding order status, delivery, and inquiries.
Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
Handle customer complaints and escalate issues to the sales team as necessary.
