About The Position

Crown Lift Trucks is the premier material handling dealer in Canada, operating eight full-service branches in Ontario and Quebec. They offer complete service solutions including maintenance programs, parts supply, and training. This position reports to the Branch Manager and is accountable for the coordination of new equipment orders.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and planning skills required.

  • Detail oriented and thorough.
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines and has a strong sense of urgency
  • Superior computer skills (i.e. Microsoft products and Crown’s internal system)
  • Demonstrated customer relations ability.
  • Motivation and team spirit, must be able to work extremely well within a team
  • A self-starter who takes pride in a job well done.

Responsibilities

  • Process all sales orders from Crown, and miscellaneous products
  • Input pertinent information Order into applicable software such as Baan, Quipware Headers (i.e. purchase order #, serial #, etc.)
  • Check all acknowledgements for spec and pricing information ensuring that all sales staff is advised of any and all relevant changes to delivery matters.
  • Orders accessories when ETA is confirmed by the factory
  • Ensure that sales staff is kept apprised of any changes to delivery schedules and ensure that peg stock units are stocked for sales staff.
  • Advise on an ongoing basis to management of equipment inventory levels
  • Assist new sales staff and other members of the department as required and necessary
  • Assist the Administrative Assistant as required for GL issues
  • Edit profit and loss statements to ensure the accurate amounts for commissions
  • Checks outgoing orders for quantity, correct material, weight and proper address markings.
  • Prepares pre-delivery and Installation directions for retail sales
  • Edit internal services invoices pre- delivery
  • Prepare government data summaries
  • Filing of customer Order files
  • Work with customer accounting portals as needed.
  • Update weekly PDI list.
  • Attend Sales/Service-related teams meeting relevant to the job.
  • Provides assistance and support as required for all Sales department activities and functions.
  • Fluency in English (advanced level) is required 50% of the time to communicate with the suppliers and collaborators in other provinces in Canada, with whom communication is conducted exclusively in English.
